A Short Biography of Joe Pavone...

Joe Pavone was born on November 25, 1952 in Buffalo, NY. He is the youngest of four sons born to Anthony Pavone and the former Mary Grace Moccia. Anthony Pavone came to America through Ellis Island at the age of 16 in April of 1924, a native of Abruzzi, Italy. He was a life long laborer and steelworker. His parents were Nicola Pavone and Maria Carmine Lauretano-of Pescara province, Abruzzi, Italy. He passed away on January 4, 2001-nearly 93 years old. Joe’s Mom, the former Mary Grace Moccia, was a native of Niles, Ohio. Her parents were Filippo Moccia and Filomena LaSalandra, who came from the same town in Southern Italy-Tursi, Matera province, Basilicata. Mary Grace Pavone was a life long homemaker who was devoted to her four sons. Mary Pavone went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2007 at the age of 93+ years and is sorely missed. Joe Pavone grew up in the Bethlehem Park section of Lackawanna, NY (a suburb of Buffalo). He is a graduate of Lackawanna High School (1970), ranked 48th in a graduating class of 384 students. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo in December of 1973. He then worked in the retail field in different capacities for the next 10 years, lastly owning and operating the clothing store "Discount Town" on Grant Street in Buffalo from September 1978 through January 1983. It was during this time period that Joe was converted to Christ and baptized in 1980 at the Armor Bible Presbyterian Church near Orchard Park, NY.

Joe Pavone went back to college in 1983, and earned his second Bachelor’s degree in 1986 - a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University College of New York at Fredonia. Moving to New Jersey in 1988 to pursue job opportunities, he has been employed as an accountant ever since. Joe Pavone utilizes this website to pen articles on the Doctrines of Sovereign Grace and Election, as well as other vital issues that God has put on his heart such as abortion, the plight of the elderly, apostasy, and the state of the church in Amerika. His main gifts as a believer are used for the defense of the unborn (who can not speak for themselves), the elderly (who often are the victims of passive euthanasia) and the apologetics of the Evangelical Christian faith.
