May 15, 2005 -- In Part I of this series, we examined the ways that Roman Catholicism is a deadly enemy of Bible Christianity, and the need to recognize it as such and act accordingly. We now need to view another deadly enemy - the religion of Islam.
While Roman Catholicism and Islam are both false religions that seek to reach God by works, they differ in general in their methods and deceptions.
Roman Catholicism presents itself as a Christian church, like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Islam denies the essentials of the Christian faith and presents itself as the true religion and way to god. We have also had the spectacle of Christian Pastors inviting Muslims to speak at their churches to foster "understanding"-what tragic naiveté and compromise.

The truth is that Islam is an antichrist religion of violence and hatred. This can be seen in its core teachings as seen in the Qur'an (Quran) and its persecution of the Body of Christ.
WHY ISLAM IS AN ANTICHRIST RELIGION
The basic teachings of Islam are in direct conflict with Bible Christianity and must be defeated with the truth of the Word of God.
ISLAM TEACHES:
that Jesus Christ is not God come in the flesh, was not crucified on the cross of Calvary, and thus is not the Savior of those who call upon Him. Source: Qur’an: (4:157) (5:17) - see also

BUT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS:
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."
- 1 John 2:22, 23
As believers we know that our salvation rests upon the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death upon the cross of Calvary.
"...in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1.14)
according to the riches of his grace..." (Eph 1:7)
ISLAM TEACHES:
that salvation comes only from believing that Muhammad is the prophet of Allah and following the commands of Allah in the Qur’an Source: Qur’an: (3:135) (7:8-9)
BUT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS:
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" - 1 Tim.2:5
ISLAM TEACHES:
that "Allah" will judge all people on the Day of Judgment. Source: Qur’an: (3:30, 35:33-37)
BUT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS:
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." - Matt.28:18
and in Matt. 25:31-46 we see that it is "the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Judge of all mankind."
Both cannot be true - either Islam and its holy book the Qur’an are lies or the Bible is false and Jesus Christ was a lunatic or liar.
Further - Islam denies the Trinity, the infallibility of the Bible and that Jehovah is the one true God- and denies our triune God in favor of their false god "Allah."
Christianity and Islam are totally incompatible in faith-and in practice.
Islam in Practice
Islam has long been known for its practice of proselytizing by conquest and violence.
Today in Islamic countries Christians are persecuted and endure violence and even martyrdom. All of this hatred evidenced towards our brothers and sisters in Christ and what they suffer at the hands of Muslim persecutors can be seen at the following websites:
As believers we should all be moved to compassion and action:
"Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them..." - Hebrews 13:3
Islam is not the friend of any true believer in Christ.
In the West, Islam has a different facade and language in order to deceive people and win converts and acceptance. Where Islam is in the majority its religious practices of violence and hatred are readily evident. The Qur'an itself in numerous places exhorts its readers to "jihad"-holy war-in service to "Allah". I challenge anyone reading this to prove otherwise, and upon request I will gladly furnish the appropriate references from the Qur'an.
THE REAL CHALLENGE FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST IS WILL A SLEEPING CHURCH AROUSE ITSELF TO MEET THIS CHALLENGE OR GO THE WAY OF EUROPE, WHICH IS DROWNING IN MOSQUES AND MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS.
A church that does not understand what Islam is and the danger it represents may lose its lampstand - and its freedom as now enjoyed.
WHAT CAN BE DONE ????
THERE MUST BE NO ILLUSIONS AS TO THE NATURE OF ISLAM IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.

- Share the websites and information in this article with other believers in your church and spread the word on the true teachings and nature of Islam. If you hear any religious or political figure speak of the "peaceful" nature of Islam, share the truth with them.
- Support ministries such as those noted herein, and any others seeking to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ into Muslim lands.
- Be prepared to share your faith with any Muslim who is open to receive the truth of the Word of God.
- Study and bookmark the websites at theto increase your knowledge of Islam and the danger it represents.
My closing hope and prayer is that the Lord will awaken his sleeping elect to action, and open their eyes to understand the need for spiritual warfare against the enemies of our Savior.
