Amerika Emulates Nazi Germany:
The Murder of the Down's Syndrome Children

By Joe Pavone

May 9, 2007 -- Today, the New York Times brings us the news that ninety percent of all pregnant women who are given a Down syndrome diagnosis choose to have an abortion. If the Times data is accurate, over 45 to 50 thousand infants are murdered each year in Amerika for the crime of being afflicted with Down's syndrome. In Nazi Germany at least 200,000 were killed for being deemed "unworthy of life"-that is, the handicapped, the aged, the retarded. I am sorry - very sorry - that she had to suffer as she did on some occasions... [read more]

The Most Precious Thing in the World: A Mothers Love
By Joe Pavone

January 20, 2007 -- My mother, Mary Pavone, passed away on 1/17/07. Besides being filled with grief at her passing, of course I have many memories of her. As an Italian-American, I can share memories with you of holidays filled with great cooking and baking. Mom was a terrific cook and her baking was something to be eagerly awaited. Our home was always filled with the aroma of her sauce and baked goods at those times. Homemade ravioli and fried Italian doughnuts stand out in my mind as her specialties... [read more]
