The Conclusion:

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them." - Acts 20:28-30

By way of review, we have learned from the first four parts of this series some of the most prominent fatal errors of the Roman Catholic Church. These include:

• The heresy of setting the words of men above the Holy Scriptures-the Word of God. History has proven that the Roman Catholic Pope, being a sinner himself, could never usurp the place of the Holy Spirit, who rules the true church through the infallible Scripture.

• The heresy of setting up a false, man-made sacramental salvation by means of baptismal regeneration and the idolatry of the communion wafer. Worshipping a piece of bread as though it were God is blatant idolatry (see Matthew 4:10) Believers in Christ know that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. (Eph. 2:8,9 and Romans 5:1)

• The heresy of Goddess worship, i.e. the establishment of a false "co-mediatrix" - the Mother of Jesus. In fact as we have seen previously there is only one mediator between God and man-the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Timothy 2:5) The Roman Catholic Church’s worship of the Mother of Jesus is a satanic trap that draws people away from Jesus Christ-the only way to God the Father. (John 14:6)

• The heresy of transubstantiation, a form of spiritual cannibalism, during which one is said to eat the actual body of Jesus Christ and drink His blood. This heresy has deceived countless millions into believing that they have been sanctified by a sacrament- instead of the blood of Christ being applied to their hearts through faith in a risen Saviour. (Romans 10:10)

The sad fact is that all too many Evangelical Christians are ignorant of the heresies of Rome. They seek to hold hands with their imagined RC "brethren" and sing "kumbaya" instead of EVANGELIZING them.

The Word of the Lord commands us otherwise:

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." - 2 Cor. 6:14

The Roman Catholic Church is leading millions of souls to hell and the contemporary Amerikan church seeks compromise and accommodation with her. Again, the Word of God has the answer:

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." - Revelation 18:4

Ignorance of the Scriptures and of history has led the Amerikan church to the quagmire it finds itself in. It is the Roman Catholic Church that is guilty of the murder of tens of thousands through its Counter-Reformation and unholy Inquisition. A reading of Fox’s Book of Martyrs would profit todays Christians immensely and expose the murderous history of Rome. However a Laodicean church prefers the drivel emanating from Rick Warren and Joel Osteen.

A 21st century Reformation is so desperately needed!

C. H. Spurgeon said it so well:

"Some men’s minds are growing weaker in the battle. I hear them speaking of incorporating certain Roman Catholic beliefs into our Protestantism - and what is that but Roman Catholicism made worse than it was before, by being more despicable and deceivable than even Catholicism itself. Don’t you hear men talk of the Roman Catholics these days and say, "Oh! well, they differ a little from us." Doesn’t the evangelical party in the Church of England seem at the present moment to embrace some of the Roman Catholic teachings? All is well with that Church when it is separated from the heretics, and a great gulf is fixed, but all that helps to bridge that gulf will mar her glory and destroy her power. We must have no truce, no treaty with Rome. War! War! War! with her! There cannot be peace. She cannot have peace with us - we cannot have peace with her. She hates the true Church, and we can only say that the hatred is reciprocated. We would not lay a hand on her priests; we would not touch a hair of their heads. Let them be free; but we will attempt to destroy their doctrine from the face of the earth because it is the doctrine of demons. We must fight the battles of the Lord against every error that pollutes the church. Utterly slay them; let no error escape the sword. "Fight the battles of the Lord."

May the Lord raise up a standard and a 21rst century Spurgeon instead of the pulpit poodles the Amerikan church is cursed with. Let us all recognize the heresies and doctrines of devils that the Roman Catholic Church promotes and evangelize the lost souls ensnared therein. Millions of Mexicans who are Roman Catholics have now entered the country.
